June

This month marks the beginning of summer and for me it is the moment when the cherries and apricots that I love mature. These yellow and red fruits put me a good mood. It is the time when the garden explodes in all its beauty, the green has not yet suffered from the summer heat and in particular, roses are at their maximum splendor.

The table set for June was a romantic dinner for two. The pink “Ballerina” rose is the background with its numerous corollas and so simple that they seem to be designed by a child. If we think about it, it takes very little to create an atmosphere of intimacy. The garden of the house, appreciating the poetry of small things, can be worth as much as a distant exotic place. Perhaps real luxury is to find joy with the things you have.
